And what about the total weight? unlike a 3-4 legged highchair, this has a single primary leg that must be weighted to compensate for the child and the child's movements. Sure, it looks pretty, but real world function must be taken into consideration when designing for such a market.
As for footrests, they need to be height adjustable for when the child grows. Otherwise the legs are dangling and this does not encourage good posture.
There is also the safety aspect of having a height adjustment button isn't child proof. If second child, dog or parent accidently steps on the button, down goes the chair and if in the up-to-table position the child can easily be choked against the table or sustain serious head injury. The height adjustment should be fool proof not exposed.
overall nice attempt at completely copying other highchairs that have already been on the market for years. hardly a new design.
